[two things anyone tuning in will notice first: 1) the Dreamberry is upside down, 2) there is strange (horrible) singing in the background. assuming no one is distracted by Tamaki frantically spewing nonsense before then.]

—LP ME!! THE TREES!! THEY'RE TRYING TO ATTACK THE HOUSE!!

[oh it's upside down. fixing! though he might have almost dropped it partway.]

They keep saying that I better watch out or this Llama person is going to get me!!! What do I do!??!

[a month later, and this is what Tamaki wakes up to. poor guy, he has no idea he's been asleep for that long and he doesn't realize that the trees are just trying to sing Christmas carols to him. though they are kind of looming in really close to the windows and have weird creepy mouths. not to mention that because of the window and the fact that they aren't great singers, it's hard to hear what they're singing. but for the record, they were really trying to sing "Llama Claus is Coming to Town."]

If I could have everyone's attention!

I am Tamaki Suoh, owner of Café des Rêves and president of the Host Club. As you may have known, Somarium is throwing the Autumn Festival again this year, and the Host Club will be participating by hosting the grand finale for the event. On Sunday, August 28, instead of fireworks, everyone will be given a chance to send a floating paper lantern up into the sky!

They will look something like this—[steps back to reveal a table with said lanterns.]—with other styles available, of course, and will be constructed with specially designed paper. The candles will also be special so that no fires will be created and will burn out harmlessly. As for how they will float, we'll also have a bit a magic helping us as well. [wink~] Everyone will have a chance of constructing their own, but we will have plenty of pre-made ones available.

This event will be held in tribute to the lovely Miss Rapunzel, the inspiration for this. It is my heartful desire that she be able to see the floating lights that she has always dreamed about. [and is that a sparkle in his eyes?] But that leads to a little personal touch that I am adding to this event.

Not only will you be able to let the lantern fly, but also your hopes and dreams with it. Everyone who participates will be given a small piece of paper where you can write down one wish, hope, or dream and it will be attached to the bottom of the lantern like so. [and once again demonstrating.]

It's a little like the Japanese Tanabata festival, where you also write wishes. The only difference is it's normally tied to bamboo. It's normally held in the summer, but we just miss the date this month. So what better way than to combine these two lovely traditions and to do it in a world of dreams?

[and there's his usual charming smile.]

I hope everyone will be able to participate! And we will welcome any volunteers.

I hope this is to your satisfaction, Miss Rapunzel~

[looking a little less energetic and sparkly than usual, but there's still a bit of a smile there.]

Honey-senpai has followed Mori-senpai and returned home. Even after three years, it's still hard to get used to, but it was fun while they were around. It's also fitting that they're both gone. Neither is the same without the other, and seeing Honey-senpai without Mori-senpai...it really is for the best.

[still, it was also a little lonely, especially since they never seem to stay for too long. he was definitely going to miss them, but with things being the way they are in Somarium, he was also glad.

he looks like he's about to leave it at that, but then he remembers and switches the filter settings.]

[FILTERED AWAY FROM: TOHRU AND KYOU]

Ah—would anyone happen to know where I could find Kyou Sohma? I would normally ask him myself, but there is something I need to speak to him about and I'd rather do it in person and without him knowing. It's a surprise~! [slight lie, but only in terms of what the "surprise" is.

Kyou, you are getting a hard lesson from the master of love.]

[set immediately after this little encounter, whether you wanted to hear this or not, this will be the excited face of one Tamaki Suoh proclaiming loudly into his Dreamberry. he's so excited, he's practically sparkling]

Rejoice citizens of Somarium!! I have the most WONDERFUL news!!!!

...Eh? Oh Inspector Javert! Did you want to announce this yourself? Forgive me I was just so excited, here you can use my Dreamber--ACK--[and this would be one looming face from Javert before he grabs the Dreamberry from Tamaki's hands]

[ooc: Both Tamaki and Javert will be responding 8D]

[it cuts on to reveal a rather...well messed up apartment. things are thrown about as if it was either robbed or some tornado flew through it. well a tornado did go through it: Tamaki.]

--Not here--or here or here or here--!!!

[he's just zipping from one place to the next, opening and closing drawers...reopening and closing said drawers, disappearing and reappearing from view as he continues to search frantically before finally he just stops in front of his Dreamberry. without even registering the fact that it had been on this whole time he's just going to shout into it]

SHE'S GONE!!! MY LITTLE HARUHI IS GONE!!!

[now cue the dramatics]

Oh how could I have forgotten her!?! I could have sworn I brought her with me when we evacuated and brought her home but she's nowhere to be seen!!!! Is this punishment for neglecting her shrine for so long?!?!

HARUHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!

[FYI: he's not talking about the person. he's talking about the little crystal statue he made a shrine for a few weeks back. ...yeeeeeah feel free to totally misunderstand 8D]

spectaculaire: (Idea~)
I've just had a wonderful idea~

I know I've told several people about the possibility of remaking the Host Club. However...

What if I opened a cafe instead~? There would still be elements of the Host Club but it would be just a little different~ Don't worry, my fair maidens, I will still be willing to serve you as to the best of my abilities~!

Oh~! And a piano! A grand piano~! Oh it will be just wonderful~!

Okaa-san we can do it, yes? I think it would help provide some more activities to do while we're here~

The Perfect Host

To be the perfect host, one must hold every aspect of the perfect gentleman. He must also have the required charming good looks, honor, and prestige.

Everything he does is for the benefit of the lady, for it is she whom is being served. To protect the maiden's heart is our duty, and like the chivalrous knight, the host will hold his lady near his heart and do all that he can to ensure her happiness.
