[a month later, and this is what Tamaki wakes up to. poor guy, he has no idea he's been asleep for that long and he doesn't realize that the trees are just trying to sing Christmas carols to him. though they are kind of looming in really close to the windows and have weird creepy mouths. not to mention that because of the window and the fact that they aren't great singers, it's hard to hear what they're singing. but for the record, they were really trying to sing "Llama Claus is Coming to Town."]

[hello, it's your favorite resident sparkly blond. some may notice that he is sitting on top of a recently laid out futon (he wanted the kotatsu but it's still not in season for it sob) with a teddy bear peeking out from the corner.]

Hello everyone! First I'd like to greet everyone who has recently arrived into Somarium. I am Tamaki Suoh, and it's a pleasure to meet everyone. It's been a while since we've seen anyone, so it's actually quite refreshing to see so many new faces!

[slight sheepish smile.] Though what I'm about to say next will probably confuse those not familiar with this phenomenon. But those who know Haruhi...[a sigh so full of sorrow if it were a boat it would be sinking.] She's fallen into another sleep coma it seems. And Kyouya—[quick pan to the still sleeping Kyouya behind him.]—still has yet to wake from his. This may make Halloween event planning a little difficult, so if anyone would like to volunteer and help, I would greatly appreciate it. In fact, it's probably a good time to ask if anyone would like to join the Host Cl—

[and something catches his eye and he turns toward Kyouya's bed. something was...poking out from underneath it?]

...Hm? What's this...? [and the video is going to get jostled as Tamaki reaches over and pulls out—] Eeeh? A pumpkin!? What is a pumpkin doing—WAUGH!!

[it wasn't just one pumpkin. it was a whole little pile of them! apparently Tamaki had pulled the one that was keeping them back, so now they were just rolling out and Tamaki was scrambling upright to try and not get buried under them.]

H-How did—why are—

[and then, from the darkness of Kyouya's bed...]

Tamaki................

[the look of horror on Tamaki's face as he jerks up and stares at what those watching would see a rather pissed off Kyouya slowly sitting up from his bed. anyone would swear that there was some sort of dark, black aura surrounding him as Kyouya just glared at Tamaki.]

K-Kyouya!! You're awake! [and realizing he has a pumpkin in his hand. and that there were pumpkins now all over the place (how did they get on his bed!? they weren't there before!!) ....oh dear.]

I-I can explain, I didn't—

WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY ROOM!?!?!?!?

[Tamaki may have made a rather high pitched scream before the feed cuts out.]

[hi, this is Tamaki's beaming and excited face. the Dreamberry was now propped up on a stand.]

Everyone, I thank you for participating in last week's Floating Lanterns event! It was a wonderful success, even if the ending wasn't quite what we all expected. [Overlord a.k.a. Sylvani appearing and all.] But I hope everyone's hopes and wishes come true, especially since one of mine did.

[he is getting more excited and clearly he has something more to say, but first he looks off screen and moves a bit.]

Haruhi, Haruhi! I want to show you something!

Hm? What is it...—!?

[Tamaki has grabbed her hand and wrapped his free arm around her waist to pull her close.]

Everyone, I have an important announcement to make!

[and with Haruhi still wide-eyed in shock, he holds her hand up to reveal this little beauty.]

Wait—Tamaki, what are you—!!

Haruhi and I are engaged~!!!

[yep, as of August 28, 2011, Tamaki and Haruhi are engaged.]

[looking a little less energetic and sparkly than usual, but there's still a bit of a smile there.]

Honey-senpai has followed Mori-senpai and returned home. Even after three years, it's still hard to get used to, but it was fun while they were around. It's also fitting that they're both gone. Neither is the same without the other, and seeing Honey-senpai without Mori-senpai...it really is for the best.

[still, it was also a little lonely, especially since they never seem to stay for too long. he was definitely going to miss them, but with things being the way they are in Somarium, he was also glad.

he looks like he's about to leave it at that, but then he remembers and switches the filter settings.]

[FILTERED AWAY FROM: TOHRU AND KYOU]

Ah—would anyone happen to know where I could find Kyou Sohma? I would normally ask him myself, but there is something I need to speak to him about and I'd rather do it in person and without him knowing. It's a surprise~! [slight lie, but only in terms of what the "surprise" is.

Kyou, you are getting a hard lesson from the master of love.]

[it turns on halfway]—really the 18th!? But it was—I was— Was I in another sleep coma? And why is—[and noticing that it's on already, he freezes for a moment, as if realizing something. but then he just takes a deep breath and tries to calm himself.]

Ah, sorry about that. It appears I've been asleep for about two weeks. Hopefully I didn't worry anyone! I didn't miss anything did I?

[and now filtering to: HOST CLUB CAST.]

Ahhh!! Kyouya!!! I need to talk to you about the Host Club Event! I had no idea this would happen, I'm sorry!! Mori-senpai, Honey-senpai—we need to get together as well! Renge-kun, too, if you'd like!! We'll also need to talk to the others and...and Haruhi! She's...er...I think she's also in a sleep coma.

Warnings: ....Cute? Sparkles? Roses? Mostly cute. If you have an aversion to anything potentially cavity inducing, I suggest you look away now! Oh, and pretty much every character in Somarium may be found in here, especially if Tamaki has met or conversed with them at some point. So even though no one's really specifically named, feel free to assume they're there somewhere.
Dream Effects: Feelings of nervousness, a very strong sense of joy, and then ultimate elation will most likely occur. Some may even find themselves unable to stop from smiling. More sensitive ones may even shed a tear.

[for a brief moment, the camera catches Tamaki still asleep, a rather happy, boyish look on his face. he was hugging his pillow rather close, too, and was murmuring something—mostly sleep nonsense. perhaps something about a honeymoon somewhere.

he was still completely blissfully unaware that this was not his bed, let alone his own house. and what he was going to have to deal with once he woke up. but for now he was still happily dozing away.]

[ooc: uh, the first couple of people will probably get the sleepy replies, and then it's going to be random chance on whether he's confused, freaked out, or relatively calm at first (but later respondents will probably have "calmer" replies at first)]

[BACKDATED TO THIS MORNING.]

[At first it was hard to tell what was being shown, due to there being a hand covering the camera and thereby obscuring whatever view was available. But from the corners and edges of the screen, it was clear that the Dreamberry was moving, there was a "beep beep beep" sound coming from it that one could guess was an "alarm" sound. Soon a certain bleary eyed blond was staring right into the screen before managing to turn it off. He had apparently failed to do that in his previous fumblings and had instead turned it on.

He had no clue.

So he was staring at it, slowly starting to wake up, when he felt something shift beside him. Glancing over, there was a moment where his expression freezes before it changed to a sort of "...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH" moment, his face reddening by the second. But it passed after a few heart racing moments, and it gradually changed to something more soft and tender. Even though he was unconsciously lowering the Dreamberry, the camera was still tilted in a sort of tilted, upside down angle and soon anyone who happened to be watching would see that what had distracted him was a girl who was still sleeping with her head right against his shoulder.

Yes, that was indeed Haruhi for anyone who would recognize her, and there might have been some sort of shoujo sparkle bubble effect going on (with bonus sepia tone effect, one would really think they were watching some kind of movie) as Tamaki slowly leaned over—as if to give her a kiss—when the obvious happened. As soon as he was just a few inches away, Haruhi had slowly started to open her eyes, and they were now staring at each other.

Needless to say, they were quite flustered, particularly Tamaki. He had no idea he was even about to kiss her! that boy really should get that looked at. So they were now jerking backwards in shock.]

T-Tamaki!?! Why—how—!?

Ah!! Haruhi!! That—I—er—we—my alarm—

[Who knew what the boy was trying to say, but at this point he was pointing frantically at his Dreamberry, which he was now holding up to her. Haruhi's face was now fully on the screen. At first her expression was what anyone would have guessed: embarrassed, flustered, panicking, incredibly red. But then her face paled as she noticed a certain blinking light.]

AAAAHHH WHY IS IT RECORDING!??!

EEHHH!?!?

[At this point they both pretty much scrambled to turn it off, which of course instead made the situation worse since they kind of crashed into each other.

They did manage to succeed...but not before a nice final image of Haruhi sprawled on top of Tamaki was shown before it clicked off.

Also: they had their normal clothes on you dirty dirty minded people. It was pretty obvious they had just fallen asleep but they're young...who knows what could have happened. Or why they were there to begin with.]

...Eh? Oh Inspector Javert! Did you want to announce this yourself? Forgive me I was just so excited, here you can use my Dreamber--ACK--[and this would be one looming face from Javert before he grabs the Dreamberry from Tamaki's hands]

[Warnings] Uh...excuse the cliche shoujo manga elements? And this is Tamaki's head SO. Feel free to imagine sparkles and rose petals just. Everywhere. Even where they're not mentioned.
[Effects] Pretty much all the feelings one gets when they develop their first crush: panic, happiness, anxiety, embarrassment, confusion, longing, etc. etc.

[FILTERS: RANDOM!?] [because Tamaki pretty much scrambled to try and filter this from everyone, he wound up making a giant mess of the filters instead. so it's still pretty much public, but some parts are filtered from others and some are not. so here's a (hopefully not confusing) guide of how it works:

If you've never met Tamaki before: The dream will be pretty much unfiltered. Anyone who knows Haruhi may recognize her.

Castmates and close friends EXCEPT HARUHI: The dream will be pretty much unfiltered, and they'll be able to tell it's Haruhi.

If you know Tamaki or have spoken to him at least once: Dream is mostly unfiltered, but for some reason, the girl's face is either shadowed over or just cut from the screen completely. Any mentioning of the name is muted or scrambled. However, it's probably obvious who it is, regardless, because this is Tamaki we're talking about, so feel free to have the characters recognize who she is anyway.

Haruhi F.: You get a special filter 8Da; Since Haruhi was the one he definitely tried to filter this from, it's...a mess. She'll be able to see most of the dream, but she won't be able to tell who the girl is at all. The voice will be muted with only subtitles, any name references are muted/scrambled, and the face is either overshadowed or cut if there's a close up.

IF ANYONE IS CONFUSED...then just feel free to pick whether or not the character would recognize Haruhi or not xD I'm writing it as if it were just unfiltered for simplicity's sake. Plus, we can always just say it's all thanks to Tamaki's fail!filter skills |D]

HE CAN'T LET HARUHI SEE THIS, OH GOD.]

[PUBLIC // AS USUAL, SPARKLES AND ROSES FRAME THE SCREEN AND STUFF.]

The setting was the wonderful, aristocratic Ouran Academy entrance, and the students were making their way to the main school building, their idle chatter filling the air. It was still winter, so everyone was still in their winter coats, some bundled up more than others.

"Nii-san, are you warm enough?" a young boy of fair brown hair asked as he looked up to the taller black haired young man.

"Yes, Rolo, thank you," the handsome young man smiled, the face revealing to be that of one Lelouch vi Britannia.

At that moment, everyone started to talk excitedly, and curious, the two young men turned, only to shield their faces when they see this strange white burst of light heading in their direction. And it was sparkling!

"Oh no," Rolo muttered, moving to shield Lelouch from the strange orb of light when an all too familiar voice greeted them.

"Rolo! Lelouch-san!" Tamaki's voice rang clear, "good morning!"

And in the next moment, the young blond zoomed past them on a segway, eliciting surprised looks from everyone.

"T-Tamaki?!" Lelouch exclaimed, looking very shocked indeed. "What are you--"

The blond wheeled the segway around to stop in front of him, his smile dazzling as always. "I just bought it, isn't it wonderful?" he exclaimed, and the bright aura around him seemed to increase. "You should get one!"

Lelouch could only stare. "A...A segway?"

"Yes! We can ride them around the school grounds without having to worry about breaking into a sweat and ruining our images! And to feel the crisp, fresh air...! You must try it!"

The darker haired boy looked around a bit skeptically. "Well I--"

"I agree!" Rolo suddenly perked up. "In fact..."

Out of nowhere Rolo pulled out one made especially designed for Lelouch. "I got one for you for this very reason! Nii-san shouldn't have to walk anymore!"

"Well...it does suit me, doesn't I?" the Britannian finally said, brushing his hair back with an expert flick of the wrist that sent nearby girls swooning.

Tamaki nodded with approval. "Yes! Come and join me, Lelouch, and we shall show everyone how regal we can be!"

Now atop their segways, the two dashing young men drove through the main school grounds, all the girls leaning out of their windows and squealing as they went past. The two young men were laughing in pure enjoyment, a montage of standard "charming boys" shots flashing near the end with a swirl of rose petals.

Aaaah, yes! I need to tell Lelouch of the segway I had found earlier! I'm sure he would like it!
