First of all, I'd like to let everyone know that our little Alice has moved in with me and my friends. It's been a bit of an adjustment for her, but now that she's had time to settle in, I thought it would be wonderful if we threw her a housewarming party here at the house this upcoming Tuesday. [
Secondly, I've decided to help at Lady Serenity's Rose Academy and fill in as their new drama teacher~~! Aaah, this will be so exciting and fun, I can't wait! I already have so many ideas for future plays~~ Of course I'd be willing to take in anyone not already part of the school as well, so please join the class! I can assure you we will have so much~! [are those sparkles just a trick of a light or some special effect? who knows. who knows.]
And finally, in case you missed Lady Serenity's announcement about the school festival on the 28th, the Host Club will be joining in and also have a Test of Courage event afterward. It will be held at the school and those who wish to participate will be in groups of two or three. We'll have a specially designed course that you have to go through and those who complete will receive a special reward~ [be afraid.] However we still could use a few volunteers for the set up and to help scare those who will be going through the course, so you are more than welcome to help out. And if you are interested in joining the club, we are taking in new members.
That's all, thanks everyone!
[ooc: TL;DR - Throwing Alice a housewarming party, he's the new drama teacher, Host Club has the Test of Courage, and who wants to be a host? sorry there's so much, basically trying to catch up for lost time sob.]
I am Tamaki Suoh, owner of Café des Rêves and president of the Host Club. As you may have known, Somarium is throwing the Autumn Festival again this year, and the Host Club will be participating by hosting the grand finale for the event. On Sunday, August 28, instead of fireworks, everyone will be given a chance to send a floating paper lantern up into the sky!
They will look something like this—[steps back to reveal a table with said lanterns.]—with other styles available, of course, and will be constructed with specially designed paper. The candles will also be special so that no fires will be created and will burn out harmlessly. As for how they will float, we'll also have a bit a magic helping us as well. [wink~] Everyone will have a chance of constructing their own, but we will have plenty of pre-made ones available.
This event will be held in tribute to the lovely Miss Rapunzel, the inspiration for this. It is my heartful desire that she be able to see the floating lights that she has always dreamed about. [and is that a sparkle in his eyes?] But that leads to a little personal touch that I am adding to this event.
Not only will you be able to let the lantern fly, but also your hopes and dreams with it. Everyone who participates will be given a small piece of paper where you can write down one wish, hope, or dream and it will be attached to the bottom of the lantern like so. [and once again demonstrating.]
It's a little like the Japanese Tanabata festival, where you also write wishes. The only difference is it's normally tied to bamboo. It's normally held in the summer, but we just miss the date this month. So what better way than to combine these two lovely traditions and to do it in a world of dreams?
[and there's his usual charming smile.]
I hope everyone will be able to participate! And we will welcome any volunteers.

I hope this is to your satisfaction, Miss Rapunzel~
Greetings residents of Somarium! I am Tamaki Suoh, and I apologize for not properly welcoming all the newcomers in my last...accidental broadcast. But I would like to invite everyone—especially those new to Somarium—to the Host Club's upcoming event,
Renaissance Faire~!
For those who are unfamiliar with the Renaissance Faire, it is an event where everyone dresses and participates in activities set during the 16th century, and has a bit of medieval fantasy flair to it.
There will be fun activities for everyone—Maypole, games, music, dancing, food—and even the chance to dress up in the period costumes~! Or perhaps you would like to try your hand at sword fighting? With props, of course, but if any of our skilled swordsman would like to display their skills, you are more than welcome to join! Of course our members will be dressed as well, and will be around to help host and make your day as enjoyable and fun as possible. Everyone is free to come and go as they wish, even if just to take a look~!
However, I also would like to take this opportunity to ask if any magic users would like to volunteer? What would be better than a show of magical talents from some of Somarium's finest!
If anyone else would like to volunteer with helping either setting up or running the various stalls, we would be glad to have you as well. Maybe even a chance to be a host or hostess? [a grin. you know you all want to be part of this awesome team~]
It will be held on Sunday afternoon, and last through the first part of the evening. The location is my cafe, Cafe de Rêves in the Residential District of Somni. We are located right next to the entrance to the village, Espoir by the main park. [he holds out the camera, turning it so that everyone can see the cafe in the distance and the park in question before it returns to him.] We hope to see everyone there~
✣ ~ ✣ ~ ✣ ~ ✣ ~ ✣
[FILTER TO: ANYONE WORKING AT THE CAFE + ALL CURRENT HOST CLUB MEMBERS.]
I know this is a bit short notice, but almost all of the arrangements are finished! Let's all work together to make this day one of the most memorable events yet~!
[ooc: eep, I know I originally said Saturday, but pushing it back to Sunday due to time restraints/conflicts.
EDIT: FORGOT TO MENTION. All Host Club members are free to reply to anyone who calls in (especially BFF Kyouya).]
The tables were covered with various small cakes and food, punch bowls at each end. Presents could be found here and there, but most were under the tree, where the guests would drop them off. Soft Christmas carols were playing in the background, and Tamaki himself was playing on the piano, a happy and satisfied smile on his lips as watched everyone dance and talk amongst themselves, having fun. The guests were everyone who inhabited Somarium, and they were all dressed in wonderful formal clothing. They looked absolutely stunning! It was like a true, grand ball...
THAT'S IT! THAT'S WHAT WE SHOULD HAVE!!!
A PARTY! A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS PARTY!
Then we could give each other our Secret Santa gifts! It would be perfect! I shall prepare it right away!
