It's a rather joyous celebration! It's known as St. Bridget's Day, where the tale is that a beautiful blue-winged angel fell in love with a human, and in order to give them some time together for a day, everyone dressed in their best clothes so the angel would not stand out. So on St. Bridget's Day, everyone wears their finest apparel and forgets their identity and responsibilities and dedicates the day to enjoying themselves.

I believe it's a festival that often takes up the entire town, complete with a parade and general festivities.

I was unable to participate in the last St. Bridget's Day celebration, so I had thought that perhaps it would be nice to recreate the opportunity, if it was at all possible...
