—Ah, I suppose it didn't really exist back then. It was originally a pagan tradition, but it's become more of a commercial holiday where people can dress up in costumes and have parties. Kids go around trick-or-treating, where they visit other houses to get candy.

It's roots are connected with the dead, witches, and other spooky rituals and themes.
